Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Linn walked away with it. They took down the Jesuit Crusaders 42-28 on Friday. The Lions' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Jesuit's loss came despite strong showings from Jack Wilson and Luke Ortner. Wilson threw for 217 yards and a pair of TDs, while Ortner rushed for 166 yards and one touchdown. Ortner's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 117 rushing yards.

West Linn's win bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Jesuit, they moved to 8-3 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Coming up, West Linn will square off against Central Catholic on Friday. The Rams' defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so the Lions' offense will have their work cut out for them. Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
