Recap: Clinton Prairie vs. Sheridan

Sheridan won the last time they faced Clinton Prairie, and things went their way on Friday, too. Sheridan steamrollered Clinton Prairie 48-6. Followers of Sheridan probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

Clinton Prairie got a solid performance out of junior Jacob Fullerton, who caught passes for 166 yards and 1 touchdown; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse junior Coltyn Vandegriff, who racked up 20 tackles.

The win bumped Sheridan's record up to 4-1. Clinton Prairie are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.

Sheridan will look to defend their home turf next week against Taylor at 7:30 PM. Sheridan have bulldozed their previous four opponents, so Taylor might have their hands full. As for Clinton Prairie, they will face off against Tri-County.
