Basketball Game Preview: GEO Next Generation Eagles vs. Rooted School Royals

The GEO Next Generation Eagles will head out to challenge the Rooted School Royals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. GEO Next Generation comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Thursday, GEO Next Generation had to suffer through a 63-25 loss at the hands of BELIEVE Circle City.

Meanwhile, Rooted School was able to grind out a solid win over International on Monday, taking the game 64-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Rooted School's win came from a few key players GEO Next Generation will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Corey Coleman, who posted 18 points. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Antwan Greer, who put up 13 points.

Rooted School now has a winning record of 2-1. As for GEO Next Generation, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

GEO Next Generation took a serious blow against Rooted School when the teams last played back in January, falling 62-0. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
