Baseball Recap: Junipero Serra's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Junipero Serra had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Valley Christian Warriors on Saturday. Winning may never get old, but the Padres sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Riley Lim tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Junipero Serra's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Minton, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
