Volleyball Recap: Legacy Find Success

Legacy picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Downtown Magnets Suns 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Aleksy De Lira paced Legacy's offense, picking up three kills. De Lira got some help from George Sanchez and his nine assists. Sanchez also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jorge Diaz, each putting up two.

Legacy now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Downtown Magnets, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-10.

Legacy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Roosevelt on the 25th. As for Downtown Magnets, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Annenberg on the 27th.
