Baseball Recap: East St. Louis Comes Up Short

East St. Louis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 13-9 to the Maryville Christian Lions.

East St. Louis' loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Maryville Christian, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-12 record.

Looking ahead, East St. Louis will be playing at home against Manual at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Maryville Christian, they will head out to square off against Lebanon at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
