Blackville-Hilda won the last time they faced Wagener-Salley and things went their way on Friday too. The Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks snuck past the Wagener-Salley War Eagles with a 40-35 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Hawks.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Blackville-Hilda to victory, but perhaps none more so than Breyanna Williams, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sanora Brown, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards.

Blackville-Hilda was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Blackville-Hilda's record now sits at 2-0. As for Wagener-Salley, they dropped their record down to 0-4 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Blackville-Hilda and Barnwell will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Wagener-Salley will take on Hunter-Kinard-Tyler in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
