Volleyball Recap: Westosha Central Gets the Win

Westosha Central saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Waukesha North Northstars by a score of 2-0.

Anna Hansen paced Westosha Central's offense, picking up six kills. Hansen got some help from Payton Scifres and her 17 assists. Hansen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

When it comes to explaining why Waukesha North lost, don't look at Katie Brauhn. Despite the final result, she had seven digs and one assist.

Westosha Central's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Waukesha North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Westosha Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Burlington on the 30th. As for Waukesha North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Port Washington on the 30th.
