Leadership Academy extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Caden Ryker. The Leadership Academy Falcons put the hurt on the Providence Grove Patriots with a sharp 70-48 victory on Saturday thanks in part to Ryker, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 22 points in addition to five boards and four steals. He has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 11 times he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Will Bovender, who made all 5 shots he took to post 12 points along with five assists and five boards. Those 12 points gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Providence Grove still got an impressive performance from Will Dabbs, who posted 20 points and five steals. Stephen Beeson was another key player, putting up eight points and 11 rebounds.

Leadership Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0. As for Providence Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Leadership Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Starmount at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Providence Grove, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trinity at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
