Basketball Recap: Johnson County Sports Association Takes a Loss

Johnson County Sports Association was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 94-46 loss at the hands of the Atlas HomeSchool Rattlers. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-26.

Johnson County Sports Association's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gage Bradley, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. Bradley is crushing it when it comes to boards: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Sims, who posted nine points along with five boards and three blocks.

Even though they lost, Johnson County Sports Association smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games dating back to last season.
