Meanwhile, Panther Valley was not the first on the board on Friday, but they got there more often. They were the clear victors by a 24-13 margin over Jim Thorpe. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.

Morgan O'Brien was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyla McQuillen, who went 4-for-6 with three stolen bases, five runs, and three RBI.

Panther Valley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Shenandoah Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Panther Valley, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
