After low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Lee Williams brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They breezed past the Mingus Marauders to the tune of 42-6 on Friday. The Volunteers haven't had any issues with the Marauders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Lucas Leist continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 189 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up two sacks and making two total tackles. Cooper Cronk did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 108 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Lee Williams was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 282 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September.

Another reason for the win was Lee Williams' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Leist was especially locked on to Mingus' QB and sacked him twice. Leist also rushed for 189 rushing yards, which is notable because Lee Williams is 5-2 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Another thorn in Mingus' side was Bryson Vaughn, who made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended one pass.

Lee Williams' record now sits at 6-4. As for Mingus, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Lee Williams nor the Marauders have any future games scheduled.
