Basketball Recap: Issaquah Takes a Loss

Issaquah was the 61-50 winner over North Creek when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Issaquah Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 66-65 to the North Creek Jaguars.

It was another big night for Cris Bonicillo, who went 11-for-19 on his way to 29 points and five rebounds for North Creek. Bonicillo is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Paolo Bonicillo, who posted 13 points and three steals.

Issaquah's loss dropped their record down to 12-9. As for North Creek, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-9.

Issaquah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 86-56 victory against Eastlake on the 11th. As for North Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 59-57 win against Woodinville on the 11th.
