Basketball Recap: Warren Comes Up Short

Warren and Central Heights squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Warren had to settle for second. They lost 50-26 to the Central Heights Blue Devils. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 700th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 338th).

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 19-15. As for Central Heights, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Heights, they will take on Anderson-Shiro on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Anderson-Shiro comes in on seven and Central Heights on three.
