Basketball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

After flying high against YES Prep Northwest last Friday, Columbia came back down to earth. The Columbia Roughnecks fell 55-48 to the Brazos Cougars on Saturday. The Roughnecks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 61-46.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Brazos, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Columbia has already played their next matchup, a 60-48 loss against La Grange on the 14th. As for Brazos, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-29 defeat against Almeta Crawford on the 14th.
