Basketball Game Preview: Omaha Christian Academy Eagles vs. Brownell Talbot Raiders

Omaha Christian Academy is on a seven-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, Brownell Talbot a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Omaha Christian Academy Eagles will get right back to it and host the Brownell Talbot Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Omaha Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Cornerstone Christian School and lost 52-37.

Meanwhile, Brownell Talbot was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 47-41 to College View Academy.

Omaha Christian Academy will have to contain Ivan Pfeffer as he made an impact in Brownell Talbot's last game. He dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds. Those ten boards gave Pfeffer a new career-high. Perry Anderson was another key player, putting up eight points.

Brownell Talbot's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Omaha Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Omaha Christian Academy couldn't quite finish off Brownell Talbot in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 and fell 46-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Brownell Talbot's Simon Lim, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds.
