Basketball Recap: Design Tech Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Design Tech's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took down the KIPP Esperanza Eagles 58-40. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Dragons considering their 15-point performance the matchup before.

Despite the loss, KIPP Esperanza still got an impressive performance from Eddie Whiteside, who went 10 of 20 en route to 25 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Bush, who posted eight points.

Design Tech is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for KIPP Esperanza, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Design Tech didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 80-59 win against Mid-Peninsula on the 23rd. KIPP Esperanza has also already played their next matchup, a 54-38 loss against Kehillah on the 23rd.
