Lexi Simon was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Sienna Steinmetz also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Padua Franciscan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-13.
