The Douglas Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Galena Grizzlies at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglas is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Douglas took on North Valleys on Saturday. Douglas came out on top against North Valleys by a score of 8-4. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Jeffrey Peters was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Luke Main, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

Douglas always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. The last time their OBP was this high was back in March of 2024.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Galena, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They came out on top against Damonte Ranch on Saturday by a score of 7-4 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The win continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Douglas now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Galena, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Douglas was able to grind out a solid victory over Galena in their previous meeting on Tuesday, winning 7-4. The rematch might be a little tougher for Douglas since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
