Softball Recap: Harmony Eagles vs. Quitman Bulldogs

Harmony was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell just short of the Quitman Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Harmony of the 16-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March.

For Quitman's part, Addison Marcee was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Holland, who went 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBI.

Winnsboro's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Quitman's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
