            The Kiski Area Cavaliers will face off against the Pine-Richland Rams at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Kiski Area is coming into the  match on  a  four-game losing streak.
On Tuesday, Kiski Area came up short against Penn-Trafford  and fell  7-4.
Kiski Area got a good showing from  Austin Bachar, who   tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. The dominant performance also gave  Bachar a new career-low in  walks (zero).

 On the hitting side,  John Deluca made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI. He has been hot, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last five times he's  played.  Zach Hald was another key player,  going 1-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Meanwhile, Pine-Richland sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  an  11-9  victory over Knoch  on Thursday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Rams.
  Gavin Stugart was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI and two  doubles. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Jake Waddell, who  went 1-for-2 with three  RBI and two  runs.
 Pine-Richland pushed their record up to 14-2 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.2 runs over those games. As for Kiski Area, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
