Baseball Game Preview: Upper St. Clair Panthers vs. North Allegheny Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Upper St. Clair Panthers take on North Allegheny Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Upper St. Clair is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Upper St. Clair came up short against Norwin on Thursday, falling 10-3.

Meanwhile, North Allegheny might've scored the first runs on Monday, but it was Norwin who claimed the real prize. North Allegheny fell just short of Norwin by a score of 9-8.

JJ Mancuso and Mason Smith did some serious damage despite the final result: Mancuso went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Smith went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and one double. Those three hits gave Mancuso a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Pealer, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-4.

Upper St. Clair's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for North Allegheny, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
