Game recap: Kearney High School Football Team bests North Platte

KEARNEY, Neb. - Kearney (Neb.) jumped out to an early lead against North Platte (Neb.) and never looked back on the way to a 48-21 victory on Saturday.

The Bearcats scored 21 points in the first quarter. Kearney scored on a Tyler Gillen touchdown run, a touchdown run by Jacob White and a defensive touchdown.

After taking the lead on a Gillen touchdown run in the first quarter, KHS led 35-7 at the half.

The win brought Kearney's winning streak to four games.
