Basketball Recap: Poinciana Christian Preparatory Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Poinciana Christian Preparatory Eagles were beaten by the Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech Tigers 84-53. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than ROy Santos, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. Santos also posted a block, marking his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jason Geigel, who went 5 for 9 en route to 16 points.

Poinciana Christian Preparatory's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Poinciana Christian Preparatory is headed away from home for the first time to take on Faith Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Bilingual Christian Academy & Tech, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Varsity Opponent on January 25th.
