Baseball Recap: Adamson Leopards vs. Molina Jaguars
Adamson was forced to take a big loss against they on Tuesday, they got the better of them on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Molina Jaguars, sneaking past 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Leopards: when they faced off against the Jaguars on Tuesday, they had to take a 11-3 defeat.

Christian Salazar spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up six Ks. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Adamson is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-13-1 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Juvencio Nava was excellent, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Daniel Duque was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.
Adamson has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-13-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Molina, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Adamson will square off against rival White at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Molina is set to face off against their familiar foe Hillcrest at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
