Basketball Recap: Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Takes a Loss

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes and fell 60-25. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics had strong showings from Noah Leitner, who posted seven points and three steals, and Stone Fox, who earned two points and six rebounds.

Coastal HomeSchool was led to victory by Alijah McField and TJ Duke. McField almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards, while Duke went 5-for-6 on his way to 12 points. The dominant performance gave Duke a new career-high in points. Micah Faith was another key player, putting up eight points.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-9 record this season. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record this season.

Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-50 win against Palmetto HomeSchool on the 15th. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 83-64 victory against Georgia Force Christian on the 15th.
