Emmery Wilson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Leila Stevenson, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Meanwhile, Corner Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Riverton, falling 20-0. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Chargers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Salem Hills' loss dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Corner Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Corner Canyon's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Salem Hills has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 13.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Corner Canyon, though, as they've been averaging 11.3 hits. Given Salem Hills' sizable advantage in that area, the Chargers will need to find a way to close that gap.
