Rigby had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Preston on Thursday. The Trojans blew past the Indians 3-0. That three goal margin sets a new team best for Rigby this season.

Rigby's victory bumped their record up to 7-2-1. As for Preston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7-1.

Looking ahead, Rigby will venture away from home to challenge Highland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Preston, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Burley on the 20th.
