With a playoff win on the line, Tipton rose to the challenge on Friday. They claimed a resounding 48-13 win over the Wabash Apaches. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won five contests by 29 points or more so far this season.

Tipton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zane I. Durham led the charge by rushing for 86 yards and a pair of TDs. I. Durham's longest rush was for an incredible 76 yards. Quinn Tolle was another key passer, throwing for 268 yards and two touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes.

Despite the defeat, Wabash had strong showings from Davon Osborn, who picked up 141 receiving yards and one score, and Haiden McWhirt, who threw for 163 yards and one TD. The Apaches are 2-1 when Osborn posts 100 or more receiving yards, but 0-7 otherwise.

Tipton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.5 points on average over those games. As for Wabash, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Looking ahead, Tipton will face off against Eastern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 962 yards in their previous games. Wabash does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
