Basketball Recap: Ludlow Comes Up Short

If Ludlow was riding high fresh off their 76-48 takedown of Bellevue on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers were beaten by the St. Henry Crusaders 62-32 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-41 back in December of 2025.

Ludlow's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for St. Henry, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Ludlow will square off against Scott at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Henry, they will take on Newport at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders' defense better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 54.4 points per game this season.
