Unity Reed lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Xzayvier Martin, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds. Those 12 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Russell Robinson, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Unity Reed has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Battlefield, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
Unity Reed will head out on the road to face off against Osbourn at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
