Seaholm had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They never let the Avondale Yellowjackets get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The Maples have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Yellowjackets, too.

Nick Davis and Ryan Pfeiffer did most of the damage at the plate: Davis went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and two RBI, while Pfeiffer went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one double. That triple was Pfeiffer's first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aaron Vandemark, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Seaholm always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Avondale only posted an OBP of .167.

Seaholm pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average this season. As for Avondale, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Looking ahead, Avondale will head out to face off against Lamphere at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seaholm will be paying especially close attention to the Yellowjackets' matchup: after the Yellowjackets face off against the Rams, they'll take on Seaholm again at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
