Football Game Preview: Ray Bearcats vs. Hayden Lobos + How To Watch

Ray hasn't had much luck against Hayden recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bearcats will square off against the Lobos at 7:00 p.m. Ray has given up an average of 30 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ray is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Superior, who was ranked fifth at the time (Ray was ranked tenth). The Bearcats took a 46-28 bruising from the Panthers on Friday.

Hayden played against Cicero Prep Academy on Friday and won via forfeit.

Ray's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Hayden, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Ray was dealt a bruising 71-0 loss at the hands of Hayden when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Bearcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
