Volleyball Recap: Middletown Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Saturday. Middletown took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Homestead. Middletown's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Carly Johnson paced Middletown's offense, picking up three kills. Johnson got some help from Trinity Galvan and her seven assists.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Homestead, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Middletown has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Rancho Cotate on the 30th. As for Homestead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Novato on the 30th.
