Baseball Game Preview: Out-of-Door Academy Thunder vs. Sarasota Sailors

The Out-of-Door Academy Thunder are taking a road trip to square off against the Sarasota Sailors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Out-of-Door Academy comes in on three and Sarasota on eight.

On Monday, Out-of-Door Academy earned a 5-1 win over Bradenton Christian.

Meanwhile, Sarasota owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They put the hurt on Lakewood Ranch with a sharp 9-0 victory. Considering the Sailors have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Blake Norman tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits over five innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Patrick Drymon was incredible, scoring a run while going 3-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Nelson Dominguez, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Sarasota kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Out-of-Door Academy's record is now 9-6. As for Sarasota, their record is now 13-3-1.
