Soccer Game Preview: Hampton vs. Kecoughtan

Hampton is 0-10 against Kecoughtan since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. Hampton will head out on the road to face off against Kecoughtan at 4:00 p.m. Hampton has given up an average of 8.8 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hampton is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Tuesday. They lost 9-1 to Gloucester. That's two games in a row now that Hampton have lost by exactly eight goals.

Meanwhile, Kecoughtan kept a clean sheet against Warwick on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Raiders 1-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for Kecoughtan as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kecoughtan's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Hampton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Hampton might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Kecoughtan in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can Hampton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
