Harwood came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Montpelier Solons. That's more bragging rights for the Highlanders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 19-25, 25-12, 25-13.

Isabella Pockoski paced Harwood's offense, picking up ten kills. Pockoski got some help from Savannah Fulton and her 19 assists. Pockoski was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Harwood's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Montpelier, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Harwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Middlebury on the 8th. As for Montpelier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Vermont Commons on the 8th.
