Baseball Recap: Pendleton County Wildcat vs. Southern Rams
After flying high against Harman on Wednesday, Pendleton County came back down to earth. The Wildcat took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southern Rams on Thursday.
Cooper Smith was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
