Volleyball Recap: Southwestern Randolph Cougars vs. West Stanly Colts

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Southwestern Randolph can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the West Stanly Colts on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: West Stanly scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 17-25, 25-17.

Gracie Hodgin paced Southwestern Randolph's offense, picking up 12 kills. Hodgin got some help from Hailey Kennedy and her 25 assists.
