The Waupun Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Chilton Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Waupun's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Winneconne as they made off with an 11-0 win. Considering the Warriors have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Logan Prall made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one RBI.
In other batting news, Bryant Ferris was incredible, scoring three runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Trey Schmidt also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Meanwhile, Chilton waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 8-2 victory. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by exactly six runs.
Like Waupun, Chilton also got a great game from a two-way player: Slaytt Nolan. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). Nolan was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hudson Ludwig, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Mike Vanden Heuvel was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
Chilton kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brillion only managed eight hits.
The win made it two in a row for Waupun and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Chilton, their record now sits at 3-1.
Waupun took their win against Chilton in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
