Maui is 10-0 against Baldwin since December of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Maui Sabers will host the Baldwin Bears at 7:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Maui has six straight victories, Baldwin has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Maui will bounce into Friday's match after beating Lahainaluna, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. Maui simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Lahainaluna 56-19. The Sabers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Maui to victory, but perhaps none more so than Darsee Seegmiller, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards. Naiara Bal was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.

Maui smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Baldwin came up short against King Kekaulike last Friday and fell 30-21. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly nine points.

Maui's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Baldwin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Everything came up roses for Maui against Baldwin in their previous meeting on December 13th, as the squad secured a 57-22 victory. In that matchup, Maui amassed a halftime lead of 35-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
