Basketball Recap: Morton/White Pass Comes Up Short

Morton/White Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 82-48 loss at the hands of the Napavine Tigers. If the Timberwolves were looking for revenge after losing 90-38 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Morton/White Pass' defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Napavine, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

Morton/White Pass will take on Adna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Napavine, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Napavine Tigers duke it out with the Winlock Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Napavine knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Winlock likes a good challenge.
