Volleyball Recap: Truman Comes Up Short

Truman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Columbus Sharks. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Sharks from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Truman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. Columbus has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Truman will challenge rival Roosevelt Educational at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Columbus is set to take on their familiar foe DeWitt Clinton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
