Douglass entered their tilt with Trinity on Friday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Trinity Tigers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering the Indians have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Douglass' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Trinity, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Douglass will head out on the road to challenge West Sabine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Trinity, they will be taking part in a tournament against Frankston at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
