Basketball Recap: George-Little Rock Gets the Win

Harris-Lake Park typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday George-Little Rock proved too difficult a challenge. They escaped with a win against the Harris-Lake Park Wolves by the margin of a single free throw, 39-38. This was a revenge game for the Mustangs: when they faced off against the Wolves back in December of 2024, they had to take a 48-41 loss.

George-Little Rock's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Harris-Lake Park, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. George-Little Rock will welcome South O'Brien at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. George-Little Rock is facing South O'Brien at the right time seeing as South O'Brien is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Harris-Lake Park, they will square off against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harris-Lake Park will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union will have lost three straight heading into Friday's contest.
