Volleyball Preview: Champlin Park Rebels vs. Centennial Cougars        
        
		
             Champlin Park is 9-0 against Centennial since September of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Champlin Park Rebels will challenge the Centennial Cougars at 7:00  p.m. Champlin Park is coming into the  contest hot, having won their last 18 games.
 Last Thursday, Champlin Park made easy work of Coon Rapids  and carried off  a  3-0 victory.
 Meanwhile,  everything went Centennial's way against Andover on Thursday as Centennial made off with  a  3-0 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Cougars.
 While Centennial won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-11,  25-11.
 Centennial relied on the efforts of   Emerson Jennings, who  had six  digs and 14  assists, and   Aubrie Wirkkala, who  had 14  digs.
 Centennial  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with ten  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least seven  aces in four consecutive  matches.
 Champlin Park's victory was  their eighth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 18-1. As for Centennial, they now  have a winning record of 9-8.
 Everything went Champlin Park's way against Centennial in their previous matchup  back in October of 2023, as Champlin Park made off with  a  3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Champlin Park since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
