Ten Sleep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 44-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Meeteetse Longhorns. The Pioneers were probably out for revenge after losing 51-43 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Meeteetse's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Clayton Yoder, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 boards. The dominant performance also gave Yoder a new career-high in assists (five). Johnathan Ogden was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

Ten Sleep's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Meeteetse, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing St. Stephens the next time they take the court. Meeteetse will head out to face St. Stephens at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Ten Sleep will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
