Austin Maze Game Report: vs Cosumnes Oaks

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Austin Maze: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He picked up 0.5 sacks and made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss), helping propel Elk Grove past Cosumnes Oaks by a score of 52-6. We hope Maze's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Coming up, Maze and Elk Grove will be playing in front of their home fans against Chico at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maze will face off against Brave Curcio, the Panthers' star RB.
