There's no place like home for Mitchell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Land O' Lakes Gators by a score of 3-1 on Monday. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Mitchell was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-16, 13-25, 25-14, 25-18.

Kendall Calzone paced Mitchell's offense, picking up 14 kills. Calzone got some help from Emma Hatzistefanou and her 18 assists. Taylor Perkins controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Mitchell's record now sits at 20-5. As for Land O' Lakes, with the defeat, they broke their 13-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-8.

Mitchell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Sunlake on the 14th. Land O' Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
