Softball Recap: Lee Williams Comes Up Short

If Lee Williams was feeling good fresh off their 17-5 takedown of Estrella Foothills on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Volunteers lost 12-6 to the Mohave Thunderbirds on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Alana Garibaldi was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Sami Marshall, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Lee Williams moved to 8-13 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Mohave, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
